Have your heard of the story of Edison saving his mother? He placed mirrors, candles and oil-lamps around the sickbed, adjusted them one by one to gather the light reflected by the mirrors, thus getting sufficient and mild light. Finally his mother’s operation turned out successful. Inspired by the story, I desided to design an energy-saving lamp based on the same principle.
