In this project, each student was required to design a ritual to pick up some lost qualities in life. 

 

My ritual is washing dishes, which is hated by many people, including me. Can it be an enjoyable experience? Through some research and idea iteration, I came up with the final concept, a special dish washing spot. It facilitates dish washing in a calm and relaxing environment, together with your friend or loved one. People can get closer and be open to each other. The in-built light source under the sinks lights them up in darkness, projects reflection on the wall, thus creating a fantastic space.
